Does Photos At Last upload my photos?

No. Duplicate detection happens on your computer or through photos-at-last-agent running on your own NAS or server. Your photos are not uploaded to Photos At Last.

What counts toward the 1,000-photo free limit?

Only the number of photos in your chosen target library. Source folders can contain more than 1,000 photos.

Can I use it with a Synology, QNAP or another NAS?

The optional photos-at-last-agent is designed to run in Docker on a compatible NAS or server. Exact compatibility will be documented as testing progresses.

Do I need Docker?

No. The desktop app can work with local files on its own. Docker is only needed when you want the optional agent to process files directly on a NAS or server.

Does it automatically delete photos?

No. Photos At Last identifies exact duplicates and helps move unique photos into your target library. You stay in control of what happens to your files.

What happens after two years of updates?

The version you purchased keeps working. You simply stop receiving new updates after the included two-year period.

Is this a subscription?

No. Early Access is a one-time purchase. The final price is shown in your local currency at checkout.

Which desktop operating systems are supported?

macOS and Windows are available now. The optional Docker agent runs on compatible NAS devices and servers.
